Careers

Reclaim, mill, build. Longwood is a small Kentucky team that turns salvaged wood into floors, walls, and furniture built to last.

Careers

Work in Wood

Longwood reclaims Kentucky’s old wood and gives it a second life. That takes a team that can reclaim a barn, run a mill, and finish a piece, often in the same week. We are a small, hands-on shop in Lexington, and we hire for skill, care, and a willingness to learn the trade.

The Team

Made by a Small Team

Longwood is around a dozen people who do the whole job, from pulling boards out of a barn to finishing the last piece. Everyone here touches the material.

If you like building things that last and working with people who take pride in the craft, you will fit in.
